Compare copper quality

1. Weight, high-quality wires are generally within the specified weight range. The commonly used plastic insulated single stranded copper core wire with a cross-sectional area of 1.5 weighs 1.8-1.9 kg per 100 meters, while the plastic insulated single stranded copper core wire with a cross-sectional area of 2.5 weighs 2.8-3.0 kg per 100 meters. Poor quality wires have insufficient weight, either due to insufficient length or excessive impurities in the copper core.

2. To try, take a wire end and bend it repeatedly by hand. Any product that feels soft, has good fatigue resistance, has a strong plastic or rubber feel, and has no cracks on the wire insulation is considered superior.

3. Look at the wire core and see if it is located in the center of the insulation layer. The phenomenon of misalignment is caused by low processing technology. If the power is low, it can still be used safely. However, if the power consumption is high, the thinner side is likely to be broken down by current.
